In the Vibhutipad of Ashtanga Yoga, composed by Maharishi Patanjali, there is a description of many other types of siddhis apart from Ashtasiddhi. To achieve all these siddhis it is necessary to awaken the chakras. The number of chakras located in the human body for Kundalini Shakti is said to be six or seven. With the help of the Ashtanga yoga method, if attention is given to the place of these chakras, then all the accomplishments can be achieved along with physical and mental health.
Mantra comes in Rig Veda 6.16.13.
तवामग्ने पुष्करादध्यथर्वा निरमन्थत ।
मूर्ध्नो विश्वस्य वाघतः ॥
For many people, it may seem mysterious but it is the energy of our body that awakens after complete control over all the energy chakras and our ancient sages knew this and that is why it is often discussed in Sanatan Dharma. Kundalini, the center of our life force, is called ‘serpent power’ in the English language. Earlier, even science did not accept this, because they could not see by themselves, but today they have seen the energy of the energy chakras, then they are searching further for Kundalini Shakti/. It is situated in Sushumna Nadi, in the lower part of the navel.
The function of Kundalini: All the Nadis are operated by this. Yoga describes the 7 chakras within the human body. When Kundalini is awakened through meditation, then this energy awakens and activates all the chakras of the body while moving towards the brain. After awakening the dormant Kundalini through yoga practice, it is taken to Sahastrara by piercing the chakras located in Sushumna. It is this Kundalini that influences our body, emotion, and thought. Names of the chakras: There are basically seven chakras:- Muladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddhi, Ajna and Sahasrara.
Nadis and Chakras:
Nadis: Practicing all types of Pranayama to purify the Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna Nadis. Due to their purification, 72 thousand Nadis located in the body also start getting purified. In Kundalini awakening, it is necessary for the Nadis to be pure and strong. It is mentioned in phonetics. The Sushumna Nadi starts from the Basal plexus and reaches the Sahastrara situated at the highest point of the head. All the chakras are present in Sushumna. Ida is called Ganga, Pingala is called Yamuna and Sushumna is called Saraswati. The first meeting center of these three Nadis is called Muladhara. That’s why the root is called Mukttriveni and Agya Chakra is called Triveni.
Chakra: There is a subtle Nadi for the flow of life in the spinal cord, which is called Sushumna. It has many centers, which is called chakras. These chakras or centers are formed when several Nadis meet at one place. When the Kundalini pierces the chakras, energy flows in it, as if a lotus flower has blossomed and the secret powers of that chakra are revealed.
Its Benefits: Kundalini Yoga is such a yoga activity, in which a person can awaken the Kundalini Shakti within him and attain divine power. It is a very divine experience. There are seven chakras in our bodies. One end of the Kundalini is on the Muladhara chakra and the other end is wrapped around the spinal cord The aim is to reach the seventh chakra Sahastrara, but if one leaves restraint and meditation, then this end can stop at any chakra while moving. When the Kundalini starts to awaken, the first person starts experiencing vibrations in his Muladhara chakra. Then that Kundalini rises rapidly and stops at one of the chakras, after that it starts rising again. Located in the chakra at which it stops and the chakras below it Make the chakra healthy and clean by destroying the negative energy forever.
