When Akbar imprisoned Tulsidas in prison

Once, Baba Tulsidas was going for a bath in the Ganges in the morning. At the same time, a woman whose husband had died was being punished and taken away by the villagers to perform sati.

Before committing sati, a woman had to take everyone’s blessings. Tulsidas Ji was also seen on the way, then the woman bent down to touch his feet. Giving blessings, Tulsidas Ji said – May you be Akhand Saubhagyavati!

The people walking with that woman said, Baba, her husband has died and now you prove your word to be true by bringing her husband alive.

Tulsidas refused a lot but he did not listen, then Tulsidas said, okay take me to the dead body and everyone will keep their eyes closed.

Baba Tulsidas prayed to Ram ji and the dead person got up saying Ram Ram, a person had opened his eyes and he became blind.

In this way, the fame of Tulsidas reached the court of Emperor Akbar. He called Tulsidas to Delhi. Raja Todarmal was close to Tulsidas, he had told Akbar about the miracle of Tulsi.

Emperor Akbar asked Tulsidas to show enchantment. But Tulsi Das said that he is not a magician who will entertain people by performing miracles. On this matter, Akbar gets angry and locks them in jail.

In the prison, Tulsi Das eulogized Hanuman Ji. Historians say that lakhs of monkeys reached Akbar’s capital in a few days.

Those monkeys started creating a ruckus by entering Akbar’s palace, Rani was, garden. Akbar and his subjects became troubled by all this, then Akbar’s Qazi said, release the saint whom you have taken prisoner.

Then Emperor Akbar released Tulsidas Ji and apologized to him and also played a currency with the picture of Sita Ram
