According to religious texts, once due to the curse of Maharishi Durvasa, heaven became dearer. Then all the gods went to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu told him the way to churn the ocean together with the Asuras and also told that nectar will emerge from the churning of the ocean, by which you will become immortal. When the gods told this to Bali, the king of the Asuras, they too agreed to churn the ocean. Vasuki was made the leader of the serpent and with the help of the Mandarachal mountain, the ocean was churned. From the churning of the ocean, 14 gems including Uchchaishrava horse, Airavat elephant, Lakshmi, Lord Dhanvantari came out.

What to learn – If the churning of the ocean is seen from the perspective of life management, then we will find that no one gets nectar (God) directly. For that first the mind has to remove the vices and control its senses. In the churning of the ocean, nectar came out at number 14. The meaning of this 14 number is 5 Kamendriyas, 5 Janendriyas and the other 4 are Mind, Intellect, Chitta and Ego. After controlling all these, the Supreme Soul is attained.

1- Kalakoot poison
The Kalakoot poison first emerged from the churning of the ocean, which was consumed by Lord Shiva. This implies that the nectar (Parmatma) is situated in the mind of this human being. If we have the desire for nectar, first of all, we have to churn our minds. When we churn our minds, first of all, bad thoughts will come out. These evil thoughts are poison. We should surrender these evil thoughts to God and get rid of them.

2- Kamdhenu
Kamdhenu emerged in the second order in the churning of the ocean. She was supposed to produce the ingredients of Agnihotra (Yagya). Therefore the Brahmavadi sages accepted him. Kamdhenu is a symbol of purity of mind. Because after the poison is removed, the mind becomes pure. In such a situation it becomes easier to reach God.

3- High horse
During the churning of the ocean, the horse Uchhaishrava came out at number three. Its color was white. King Bali of the Asuras kept it with him. From the point of view of life management, the Uchchaishrav horse is a symbol of the speed of the mind. The speed of the mind is considered to be the highest. If you want nectar (God), then you have to stop the movement of your mind. Only then is union with God possible.

4- Airavat Elephant
In the churning of the ocean, the Airavat elephant came out at number four, it had four big teeth. His brightness was more than that of Mount Kailash. Devraj Indra kept the Airavat elephant. The Airavat elephant is a symbol of intelligence and its four teeth are of greed, attachment, lust, and anger. It is only with a shining (pure and serene) intellect that we can control these disorders.

5- Kaustubh Mani
In the churning of the ocean, Kaustubh Mani came out in the fifth order, which Lord Vishnu took on his heart. Kaustubh gem is a symbol of devotion. When all the vices are removed from your mind, then only devotion will remain. Only God will accept this devotion.

6- Kalpavriksha
The Kalpavriksha, which came out in the sixth order in the churning of the ocean, was established by the gods in heaven. Kalpavriksha is a symbol of your wishes. The life management formula associated with Kalpavriksha is that if you are trying to attain nectar (God), then give up all your desires. If there are desires in the mind, the attainment of God is not possible.

7- Rambha Apsara
In the seventh order in the churning of the ocean, an Apsara named Rambha emerged. She was wearing beautiful clothes and jewellery. His gait was mind-blowing. She also went to the gods. Apsara is the symbol of hidden lust in the mind. When you are engaged in a particular purpose, lust tries to distract your mind. In that case it is very important to have control over the mind.

8- Goddess Lakshmi
Goddess Lakshmi emerged in the eighth place in the churning of the ocean. Asuras, gods, sages, etc. all wanted Lakshmi to meet them, but Lakshmi chose Lord Vishnu. From the perspective of life management, Lakshmi is a symbol of wealth, splendor, opulence and other worldly pleasures. When we want to get nectar (Parmatma) then worldly pleasures also draw us towards us, but we should not focus on that and concentrate only in devotion to God.

9- Varuni Devi
Varuni Devi, who emerged in the ninth order from the churning of the ocean, was taken by the demons with the permission of the Lord. Varuni means liquor. This is also an evil. Whatever be the intoxication, it is bad for the body and the society. If you want to attain God, then first of all you have to give up intoxication, then only realization with God is possible.

10- Moon
The moon came out in the tenth order in the churning of the ocean. Lord Shiva held the moon on his head. Moon is a symbol of coolness. When your mind will be free from bad thoughts, greed, lust, intoxication etc., at that time it will become as cool as the moon. Such a mind is needed to attain God. Only a devotee with such a mind receives nectar (Parmatma).

11- Parijat tree
After this, the Parijat tree came out from the churning of the ocean. The specialty of this tree was that by touching it, fatigue was removed. This too went to the part of the deities. From the point of view of life management, the meaning of the release of the Parijat tree from the churning of the ocean is the peace before success is achieved. When you (nectar) come so close to God, you
The fatigue itself goes away and there is a feeling of peace in the mind.

12- Panchjanya conch
In the twelfth order from the churning of the ocean, Panchjanya conch came out. Lord Vishnu took it. Conch is considered a symbol of victory and its sound is also considered very auspicious. When you are one step away from the nectar (God), the emptiness of the mind is filled with the divine sound. In this situation you have a realization of God.

13 and 14- Lord Dhanvantari and Amrit Kalash At the end of the ocean churning, Lord Dhanvantari came out with the Amrit Kalash in his hands. Lord Dhanvantari is the symbol of a healthy body and a pure mind. When your body is healthy and your mind is pure, only then you will get the divine within it. In the churning of the ocean, nectar came out at number 14. The meaning of this number 14 is that there are 5 sex organs, 5 genital organs and the other 4 are – mind, intellect, chitta and ego. After controlling all these, the Supreme Soul is attained.
