अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ।।
परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् ।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ।।
Dharmao Rakshati Rakshitah means you protect Dharma, Dharma will protect you. It can also be defined in this way that “Protect Dharma, you will be saved automatically. How many things have been said in this one line “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah” can only be understood by a person with a healthy mind. Religion, which people try to understand and explain by giving their own definitions in the absence of proper information, in fact, has a very wide and vast meaning in itself. Religion is the root of this pastoral world and the life of all living beings. Without religion, neither this creation can be imagined nor human life. Without religion, this world would be without religion. In which neither any life force will reside nor any virtuous thoughts.
People have kept many misconceptions about religion and keep trying to mislead others accordingly. Therefore, it is very important first of all to understand religion properly. So let us first know what is religion. According to Hindu religion-
(1) Charity is a virtue, causing suffering to others is a sin.
(2) The woman is respected
(3) Protecting the environment is our top priority
(4) Hindu outlook is egalitarian and syncretic
(5) Service to the living being is the service of God
Dharma is a foundation on which the moral and human qualities of man such as kindness, forgiveness, tenacity, sacrifice, morale, integrity, intelligence, modesty, might, humility, conscientiousness, dignity, service, morality, discretion, patience etc. All round development of these qualities takes place under the umbrella of Dharma. Man is not called a human just because of his human nature, but because of his above-mentioned qualities, he becomes a real human being. The difference between humans and animals is not physical, but animals lack some of the fundamental human qualities mentioned above. Yes, it is also necessary to say here that animals definitely have some qualities which are not present in today’s humans.
It is not only necessary to have basic human qualities but they should also be constantly protected. This work can also be done only by staying under the protection cover of religion, because on many occasions it has been seen that when the circumstances are unfavourable, there is a progressive decline of humanity in man. Why does this happen because human beings lack patience. Man starts thinking only of himself under the satires named Kama, Krodha, Greed, Moha, Mada and Matsar. The urge to think of oneself as the best, a strong desire to reach the heights makes human beings a demon. A thing snatched from someone does not make him ashamed but proud. Someone’s tears have no value for him. Mercy flies away in a storm of commercialism. Instead of looking at anything in terms of right and wrong, man starts seeing and understanding it from the point of view of profit and loss.
Today both male and female are doing shameful conduct by forgetting their dignity. There is a competition to make yourself look fashionable. In the name of modernity, how naked dances are being done in India, it is not hidden from anyone. Dangerous intoxicants have become ubiquitous nowadays. Whose future generations are being ruined by the ludicrous kind of shoddy songs played in night-clubs till late at night? of a foreigner? Children have forgotten their childhood. By the time of ten to twelve years, not only do they start making “girlfriends” but they also start watching blue movies on the modern Aladdin’s lamp “mobile”. The youth have taken an oath that they will not listen to anyone except themselves. are born to marry the desired girl. Even if you have to leave your parents for this. The same thing applies with girls as well.
If today, despite the strictest laws, cases of rape, robbery and domestic violence are increasing, then why? Why is the sacred relationship of brother and sister getting tainted today? After all, why cases of exploitation of girls are coming to the fore by uncle, maternal uncle, and even father? Why is the teacher-disciple relationship not spotless today? If the seven life relationship of husband and wife is being challenged by the absurd idea of live-in-relationship, then what is the reason for this? Is it lawful if a sister-in-law casts strings on her brother-in-law and a brother-in-law on her sister-in-law, without thinking about what will happen to her sister or her brother? But all this is also happening and both women and men are being affected by it. The only meaning of saying is that whatever crimes are happening in our society today, about which many people have been suffocated by shouting, The only reason for all of them is the decline of religion. Where the harsh law scares man, the religion makes him understand. Introduces him to the values which are essential for humanity. By adopting religion, man automatically assimilates humanity. He then needs neither any legal restraint nor any fear. He himself will be happy and will always strive for the welfare of the world. Will always be happy and will keep others happy too. He will become a human in the true sense.
It is true that some people have done wrong by taking recourse to the name of religion and perhaps even today some people are involved in this, but this thing can never deny the eternal importance of religion. Some frustrated people try to defy the importance of religion by forwarding the misdeeds done by the unrighteous and keep on eating their mouth every time. His efforts have never been successful and never will be.
His life will pass by doing this. I have some questions for such people which I want to put before them. Show them one thing in the world which has not been misused by some selfish people. I am giving the names of some such things which are misused and they should also discard them –
(a) Literature which is used to give knowledge to all, Naxalites and terrorists use it to spread hatred. So leave that literature too.
(b) Films which once brought revolution, are serving obscenity nowadays. Don’t even watch movies.
(c) A new communication revolution was born from the mobile phone but today it is also being misused. Do not misuse mobile phone.
(d) There is a lot of sexual exploitation in the name of love, so understand the difference between love and lust.
The things I mentioned above are actually happening in his name. Can we leave them? no never. And should not leave. Fighting should be against the evil present in any structure and not with that structure itself.
Religion is the soul of humanity. This is an indisputable truth. Going back and looking at the same pages, looking for the evils of religion, you will see a hundred good things compared to one evil. If something has gone wrong, it is a deviation from religion, not religion. You cannot make such things the basis of your arguments. What is needed is to free your vision from prejudices. To contemplate renunciation. Only then will a right decision be taken which will do good to the society and humanity in the true sense
